ENTRANCE TEST

JEE Main: Joint Entrance Exam Main. Applications for this examination start from the months of December and January online. Candidates can opt for either pen-paper based exam or computer-based exam for Paper 1.

SRMJEEE: SRM University conducts a Joint Entrance Examination for B.Tech Computer science engineering. The applications are made available online in the month of February and March.

MU-OET: Sikkim Manipal University carries out an All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test. The application forms for this test are available in the month of March.

Also, one important point to note about these examinations is that they have a negative marking of 0 to 1 mark. The time allotted for the exam is 2 ½ hours to 3 hours. The number of questions ranges from 150 to 200.

SELECTION PROCESS

There are two ways in which the selection process is based upon. The colleges take admission either based on the solely on the Entrance Examination Score or/and by declaring a merit list based on candidate’s performance in Entrance Exam as well as their high school examination qualifying score.
